National Semiconductor's brand new constant ON-Time based Emulated Ripple Mode (ERM) regulation scheme provides an extremely cutting-edge and simple solution to design an efficient medium current step down power converter. This technology combines no loop compensation requirement, high efficiency, constant switching frequency, and stability over wide load range.
