Alvin Tan - Senior Marketing ManagerAlvin Tan is a Senior Marketing Manager for the Multimarket Semiconductor business unit within NXP, the independent semiconductor company founded by Philips more than 50 years ago. In this role, Alvin is responsible for marketing management, driving strategic sales programs, and creating value propositions and pricing for the South Asia Pacific region. The most popular products for these markets include chips used in broad applications, consumer electronics, computing, communications and automotive applications.
Alvin Tan began his career at NXP Semiconductors in July 2007, as a Regional Marketing Manager within the Mobile & Personal Business Unit. He assumed his current position as Senior Marketing Manager for the Multimarket Semiconductors business in September 2008. Before joining NXP Semiconductors Alvin was Asean Sales Manager at Fujitsu and Senior Engineer at Philips Electronics Singapore.
Alvin holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, and is based in Singapore.
